Abrahams Industrial Minerals, Inc. has its roots in Ireland and South Africa, Orla Abrahams the founder and CEO of AIM has fundamentally changed the traditional mining industry dogma by bring a woman owned prospective. In 1982, David Thomas, one of the founders of AIM and the current Vice President of Abrahams Industrial Minerals, Inc. went to work in the Resource Development Industry (Oil/Gas and Mining) in Alaska. With over 30 years of experience in Construction, Mining and Operations Mr. Thomas rose thru the company from Jr. Project Engineer, to Project Manager, then Vice President and onto CEO of the largest EPC and Mining Contractor in the State of Alaska. Mr. Thomas lead teams in 10-countries developing mines and oil field operations in Russia, Mexico, Africa, Dominican Republic, Columbia, Kazakhstan and other former soviet countries. That vision for the company was much the same as it is today; offering a high level of service to the mining industry, which exceeds current standards and provides challenge for its employees. With a foundation built on global experience, adaptability and exceptional workmanship, AIM is a leader in the industry with cutting edge innovations in safety and mining practices.
